One down...

Well, almost. The Farmer's Market bag is blocking. I love blocking felted bags. The creativity required to find the right sized box combination is really entertaining. I think I may have made too many pockets, but that's okay. I'll probably sew them all in tonight.
I cast on for Orangina. Mine is more of a cherry soda, actually, maybe one of those health food versions without the artificial coloring.

And for Somewhat Cowl. I love Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool. It's just wonderful to work with.

Reading: Bloodsucking Fiends.

Writing: Still on page 55, 16,521 words. I've had the Novel on my mind a lot lately. I think I have the voice down that I want, which is exciting. There are actually a few different voices, but this is the main one, the first person in the present day.

Cooking: Hmmm. I made enchiladas over the weekend, but not really by a recipe. I mixed together a big can of Roman Beans (random beans I accidentally bought instead of pinto beans ages ago) with some Kraft 2% Mexican cheese and a lot of chopped cilantro I happened to have and used that as filling. Rolled it up in corn tortillas and topped with enchilada sauce, cheese, and black olives. Impromptu, recipe-free cooking.

That Orangina lace is so pretty -- I like the idea of it being health-food orange drink.

I love your market bag. That doesn't look very uncomplicated to me ;)! My clogs rule- look for a post later today.

You have such lovely projects on the needles. And your bag is so cute, can't wait to see it done.

I love that kind of cooking. I may do some today. I think I've been baking and cooking more than I've been knitting. I've started a log cabin afghan from Mason-Dixon Knitting. I'm using left-over superwash DK weight sock yarn. Very nice to knit at night - I can just zone out.

Sweater Score:

Me: 1/3
you: 10

Damn.

Nice market bag!
