Two recommendations: do computer simulations (Excel or Paintshop or...), then do the ones you like best on the sweater form on paper, then swatch the ones you like best (as you did already)...

I am soo curious to know what you will end up with!

and wish you loads of inspiration!

Lara900Lara 900https://www.blogger.com/profile/13809968280001262981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21548720.post-1141934944859847952006-03-09T12:09:00.000-08:002006-03-09T12:09:00.000-08:00Don't you love cats? The charcoal looks good as well. Stick with it. Lavender trim would look great up against a charcoal stripe.
If you're still unsure do a few small stripe swatches.String Beanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01598846448053368565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21548720.post-1141925151440433032006-03-09T09:25:00.000-08:002006-03-09T09:25:00.000-08:00First of all, I think your colors do go together a...First of all, I think your colors do go together and that they look very nice.

Second, if you don't like them, I think you shouldn't do them. I think a little lavender trim would look great too.

From my own experience I will say that getting stripes right (which I never quite did) was harder than I expected. So if you do go ahead with the stripes, be prepared to frog a few times until you get it just right. I think no matter what you do you'll end up with a great sweater!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12380570579595209692noreply@blogger.com
